Winter Beauty Essentials Under $50

WINTER: Dry skin, dry hair, dry everything... Who's with me?!

If I'm being totally honest, this blog post was completely unplanned but after spending a lot of time beauty product shopping this weekend I decided that it was totally necessary to share all of my favorites right now with you! During the Winter and this super cold weather, my skin seriously suffers and I know I can't be the only one. I am constantly on the lookout for products that will help with the dryness, not only for my skin but also my hair! Lately, I have found several products that I absolutely love that you could easily use all year long. All of them are UNDER $50 and totally worth the money! These are my honest reviews of the products and ones that I use daily/weekly. I am also going to be doing some Instagram stories to share more info on these products later this week so stay tuned for that!

1. Kristen Ess Signature Shampoo

This shampoo is literally amazing. Not to mention, it's ONLY $10! One of my best friends has been using this for a while and told me about it several weeks ago. I had been complaining about how dry and dull my hair has been and that I was looking for something to help that wouldn't break the bank. Let's be honest, we all know how expensive "nice" hair products can get. I could tell a difference in the way my hair felt after using this shampoo one time. I usually only wash my hair 3ish times a week (dry shampoo 🙌  lover over here) so I can't say how this shampoo would do if you wash your hair every day, but if you're an every other day-ish kind of person like me then TRY IT! Shop it HERE now.

Now if you know me, you know I am completely incapable of getting a real tan 😂  My skin is naturally ever only two colors, snow white or pink. There is no such thing as a "sun tan" for me (pale people problems). However, I HATE being pale in the Winter so of course a product like this is totally necessary at all times. So whenever you see me with a "tan," you best believe it came straight out of a bottle.... or a spray tan booth. This stuff is seriously life changing. My roommates and I used it religiously in college and I've been hooked ever since. It's SO natural looking and if you use the applicator mitt, it's never streaky. The biggest bottle (8 oz) is $42 but it will last you a long long time! I can usually make one bottle last for 2-3 months. Shop the self tanner HERE and the applicator mitt (highly recommend) HERE now!

3. City Lips Clear Plumping Gloss

My mom got me hooked on this stuff a few months ago and I am OBSESSED. I have absolutely no idea where she found it because I have never heard of this brand but I can assure you that I'll never look for an alternative. But here's the thing, we don't use it as a plumping gloss 😂  I have a serious issue with my lipstick coming off, smearing, peeling off, etc when my lips are dry no matter how much moisture filled lipstick/chap stick I use. So when I was talking to my Mom about it one day, she told me about this stuff and what she uses it for. I honestly think she may have come up with a new invention because this is a saving grace. We put this UNDER our lipstick and I don't care how cheap or expensive your lipstick is, it DOES NOT MOVE all day! I'm telling you, you won't regret getting it. Shop it HERE (in clear- recommended) now.

I have always been a fan of the Tarte Shape Tape concealer but I have never used this stuff until now! During the Winter, I have an issue with my face being dry so I try all of these different setting/finishing products that end up making me look super oily. Typically when I finish putting my makeup on, I use a setting spray but recently I've noticed that it's making me look oily and that's something that I cannot stand. So, I did some research and decided to try using a setting powder instead of spray. I'm SO glad I did because this stuff is amazing. It's totally translucent but it helps your skin not to look shiny and it makes your makeup stay ALL day. I absolutely love it! And the best part is that just a little bit goes a super long way so it will last a long time. Shop it HERE now.

I recently saw this stuff on a commercial and not even going to lie, I originally wanted to try it because I liked how it looked (guilty of judging a book by it's cover). I decided to look a little more into it and started reading reviews and saw only good things. So naturally, I bought it. It's absolutely amazing and has done wonders for my dry skin! I didn't realize that it was two different pieces until I bought it but the orange thing in the middle is separate. However, they are sold together which is great! The orange one is for fatigue (and hydration) but there are also ones for lines & wrinkles, pores & uneven skin, and irritation. None of those really fit what I was looking for so I went with this fatigue one! However, you get to pick the one that works best for you. Shop it HERE now.

If you have tried or purchased any of these products, let me know... I'd love to hear how you like them!
